affirmation with an invocative effect. Using this prayer will enable one to recognize that Man and God are One, that there is no separation. The "I" is the Divine Principle behind all creation. The Self emanates from, and is identical to, the Divine Principle."

"Holy Crosses of Maitreya"
Benjamin Creme is playing on the ignorance of people with his claim that
"Maitreya is causing Holy Crosses to appear in windows all over the
world" . This same ignorance of science has caused people world wide to see
"Sacred and Holy Crosses" supernaturally appear in glass
windows for the last two hundred years.

The yellow cross above is a normal refraction of light caused by the incandescent
light bulb in the ceiling fixture located in the room being reflected in
the window glass. The white cross is due to the photographers flash
which has a higher Kelvin rating causing it to be whiter than the
ceiling light.

To
the left is one of the supposed "miracles" brought about by
Maitreya, taken from his web site. This "cross" apparition is a normal happening and has absolutely
nothing to do with the supernatural. It's called REFRACTION.
As long as
there has been glass this has been a natural and well documented
process. I've personally seen it thousands of times through out my life
and paid no more mind to it than I would on seeing ripples on water. The
light source to cause a refraction can be sunlight, moon or star light, or man
made light. |
The
scientific definition of refraction is the change in direction of a wave due to a change in the velocity of the wave. It's most often demonstrated in optics, but may happen for any wave that interacts with a medium, such as sound waves.
In optics, refraction occurs when light waves travel from a medium with a given refractive index to a medium with another. At the boundary between the media the wave's phase velocity is altered, it changes direction, and its wavelength increases or decreases but frequency remains constant. For example, a light ray will refract as it enters and leaves glass; understanding of this concept led to the invention of lenses and the refracting telescope.

Multiple crosses at the home of Leo and Loretta Alphonso in Violet, Louisiana, a radiant panorama of crosses appeared, elaborate foot-tall figures tapered at the ends and appearing to set off in the distance. Three of them were glowing in white and one in gold. Some saw a red cross floating past the others."

Radiant panorama caused by Maitreya ?
Poor uninformed and gullible people of Louisiana (and the
world). This imagery is not anything unusual. It is simply
a light source being refracted through window glass. The
"red cross floating past" mentioned above was
merely the reflected/refracted light of one of your
neighbor's automobile taillights as they drove past
wondering what all the hub bub at your house was
about. |
Jesus
condemns seeking after signs:
Mark 8:12 And he
(Jesus) sighed deeply in his spirit, and
said, Why does this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

Benjamin
Creme also claims that Maitreya "overshadows" him. This claim
is even more laughable when you see that the image to the left is his
only offered "proof" of this supernatural happening.
This, Mr. Creme, is called a double exposure and it also is
another normal happening of light. It is very obvious that this photo
shows two different images captured of the same person and exposed on
the same section of film. This is very common and is caused by the film
not advancing across the shutter plane between exposures. |
The
blurred effect is called "ghosting", but has nothing to do with the
supernatural. The term ghosting was aptly applied to this mistake by photographers a century ago
due to ignorant people calling this effect a ghost image.
I've thrown away hundreds of images like these due to malfunction or
carelessness on my part. The double image effect, on my part, was due to my forgetting to advance
the film or accidentally hitting the film sprocket release button, and the
ghosting effect due to my using a too slow shutter speed. Guess I should have saved
them all and designed a "Supernatural Phenomena" website around
them.

Maitreya
is a man, and no more than that. His publicist (another man) is a fellow named Benjamin
Creme.
Mr. Creme goes about making up absurd stories that Maitreya can vanish and
appear at will. This has not been documented nor even stated by anyone other
than Benjamin Creme. At the two documented appearances of Maitreya he was seen
walking into and leaving the area just like anyone else would do. He was also
seen riding in a car before and after he supposedly appeared from thin
air.

Beginning in 1959,
Creme claims to have been contacted by one of the "Ascended Masters," who told him he had a mission to perform for the advancement of the Masters' plan for humanity. Creme was instructed to prepare the way for the coming of one Lord Maitreya, a Master who would assume human form and begin preparing humanity for the advent of the Age of Aquarius — a sort of New Age millennium. The Aquarian Age would be a time of peace, plenty, perfect equality, and global governance under the Masters, via the United Nations.” |

In mid-1957
Creme, while working with a group which claimed contact with the Space
Brothers, believed he had discovered the ability to transmit energies from the
Space People. In 1958 Creme entered into close contact and began to work for the
Space Brothers.
Mr.
Creme has made the following statement regarding the soon to be
announced "Day of Declaration of Maitreya"
"Day of Declaration
At the earliest possible moment, Maitreya will demonstrate His true identity. On the Day of Declaration, the international television networks will be linked together, and Maitreya will be invited to speak to the world.
We will see His face on television, but each of us will hear His words telepathically in our own language as Maitreya simultaneously impresses the minds of all humanity. Even those who are not watching Him on television will have this experience.
At the same time, hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings will take place throughout the world. In this way we will know that this man is truly the World Teacher for all humanity."
We will see His face on television, but each of us will hear His words telepathically in our own language as Maitreya simultaneously impresses the minds of all humanity. Even those who are not watching Him on television will have this experience.
Yet, even though the foolishness of Mr.
Creme in his presentation of Maitreya makes us
shake our head in wonderment at the expected gullibility of people today, I also am
fearful for those among us, gullible and sophisticated, ignorant and educated,
that will be completely fooled by the soon coming anti-Christ. The
anti-Christ won't be sending out the likes of a Benjamin Creme with silly
pictures of window refractions and blurry double-exposed images, but will
instead be coming with great signs and wonders and will be touted as a world
recognized and accepted religious leader.
